Funding for the COE is fundamental to the fulfillment of its mission. The COE optimizes the use of existing resources. We aggressively and systematically implement a fundraising plan that ensures achievement of our vision and strategic goals.
9/19/05 - COE Welcomes Development Director
COE funding initiatives were substantially advanced on September 19th, when we welcomed Dr. Gail D. Robinson as the long awaited Director of Development for the College of Education. Dr. Robinson’s services are provided through the VP for Advancement’s office but her office is in the COE (Ball Hall 215H).
Dr. Robinson is a graduate of our College (EdD: Higher and Adult Education 2004; M.S.: Leadership 2000). She received her B.S. in biology in 1985 from LeMoyne-Owen College. She also received training at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.
She is an experienced development officer and brings expertise in higher education administration, grant writing, planning and research. In her new role she has responsibility for developing our alumni relations, fundraising, major gifts, and promotion and public relations for the College and all departments and units. She also serves as liaison for the COE Futures Funding Innovation Implementation Team.
